There has been much debate about whether History is more important than Science and Technology. From where I stand, I consider that study Science and Technology subjects present more merits.

Some poeple propose that subjects like Science and Technology are more important than History. They have some good points to support their view. Firstly, studying Science and Technology can help people find a good job. As we all know that we are living in a technical and scientific age which needs a lot of professional people to go a step further. So, there is no doubt that the people who learn Science and Technology well are more welcome and more easier to find a good job. Secondly, Science and Technology are more useful than History, and the knowledge can be used in daily life. For example, they can learn how to repair their computers, how to predict the weather tomorrow, how to keep safe in the wild and so on.

Other people, however, argue that History is more important than Science and Technology. They have their arguments too. On one hand, they consider that people can learn a lot of useful experiences from histories, like how to deal with social issues. On the other hand, they think that learning history is important way to know their local culture, such as the origin of their countries. However, I think these people failed to realize that some experiences in today may be outdated. And I consider that learning subjects like Science and Technology are more realistic to protect our culture. For example, we can learn how to use 3D-scanner to scan the historical building.

In conclusion, considering that learning Science and Technology are more useful and realistic in today's world, I believe they are more important than the subject of History.
