A recent survey shows that in many countries across the world people are generally living longer. But an increased life expectancy has many implications for the aging individuals and for the society as a whole.
What are the possible effects of a longer life expectancy on individuals and the society?
Nowadays, people are generally living longer than before in many countries. However, it will cause some issues. In this essay, I would examine how elderly and society can be affected by this phenomenon.(6分钟)
First of all, elderly people can have more chances to achieve their dreams.(10分钟) For example, many scientist and researchers spend most of their time on their favourite academic area like inventing something new. Unfortunately, when they are about to approach to their success, they become very old so that it is hard for them to continue their interests. However, if those people can live longer, they could continue their works and have more possibilities to achieve their dreams.(16分钟)
In addition, there are also some implications for the society as a whole. One way is that governments have to spend more money on elderly people.(18分钟) To be more specific, people in the age of around fifty begin to retire, which means that they do not need to work anymore and contribute to the GDP of the city. However, if the age of retirement keeps the same range and people live longer, governments need to pay extra money to them in the area of hospital, pension and so on.(24分) Another way is that the resources of the society will become less if life expectancy adds. For example, considering that new lifes are still borning, which means that the population of the country will increase. However, the number of resources and facilities are hard to adapt to the increasing population, so people will have less resources than before.(33分钟)
In conclusion, increasing life expectancy is a positive trend for individuals, whereas it will cause social issues on governments' revenues and the resources in the whole society.(36分钟)

When you learn a foreign language, all four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) are equally important.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
这题主要卡在想观点上面了...想如何解释说明这两个观点,确实有点难写
There has been much debate about whether it is significant to learn listening, reading, speaking and writing equally when people want to learn a new language. From where I stand, I firmly believe that learning all four skills equally is necessary.
Some people argue that it is no need to keep four skills at the same level for people who want to learn a foreign language.(8分钟) They may base their argument on the considerations that each part of skills is independent.(11分钟) To be more specific, people who want to chat with English would just need to study English speaking, because it is enough for them to do the basic communication.(16分钟) Therefore, it is not equally important for English learner. Besides, learning listening and speaking are more necessary than other skills in daily life.(21分钟) One fact is that listening and speaking are not only very basic but also so useful ability of a foreign learner when they go aboard, so learning listening and speaking may be more important.
In my opinion, I consider that all four skills are equally significant. The main reason is that a foreign language can not learned without each one skills. For example, when children want to learn how to speak, they firstly need to read each words in the textbook.(37分钟) Thus, each part of the skills should be studied at the same time for people who want to learn a foreign language well.(40分钟) In addition, all four skills are required in today's world. For example, when students want to study aboard, it is necessary for them to pass the IELTS test, which contains listening, reading, speaking and writing equally.(45分钟)
In conclusion, all the four skills on the process of learning foreign language are equally important, because they relate each other and are required equally nowadays.(47分钟)

Nowadays, it is more convenient and easier for people to travel to other countries.
Is this a positive or negative development?
In today's world, travelling aboard is becoming less difficult and more convenient. However, there has been much debate about whether it is a negative trend. From where I stand, I firmly believe that it is a positive development.(3分钟)
Some people argue that it is not a positive thing that going aboard becomes easier. They may base their argument on the considerations that development of the developing country would slow down if people can go aboard easily.(8分钟) For example, there are considerable population of the developing country which are living poor. If they can go aboard, they may try their best to live in a richer country which allow them to work less and get a high salary. Thus, the population in the developing country will decrease, so that there are not enough citizens want to focus on developing their own country.(13分钟) Besides, traveling aboard would be dangerous. If people can travel to other countries without any complex identification, some smart but serious criminals may go aboard to avoid being punished, which can badly affect the security of other areas. Therefore, it is not a positive trend.(16分钟)
However, I consider that travel aboard easily and conveniently is a positive trend. The main reason is that it can improve creativity of a country. For example, if children can travel to other countries without difficult, they may probably travel aboard frequently. As we all known, traveling aboard can exchange different culture, which allows children to broaden their horizons. Therefore, the children who go aboard can have new ways and creative views to solution different issues better.(26分钟) In addition, citizens who travel aboard frequently can foster the development of tourism, which can bring a lot of revenues to governments.(29分钟)
In conclusion, although traveling aboard more easily may cause some issues, there are more benefits for individuals and the whole country in a long term. Thus, I strongly consider that travelling aboard more conveniently is a positive development.(32分钟)
